     Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations

     

     

    Summary: 

    Nova Medical Centers, is seeking a strategically focused Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations to provide leadership, direction and support to all aspects of clinic operations.  This individual will establish and maintain effective professional relationships with physicians, physical therapists, clinic operations staff, sales team, patients and employers as well as formulate and administer policies and procedures, participate in strategic planning and business development activities and assist in the professional development of the clinic operations management team.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Key Functions: 

    • Recommend, develop and assist in the strategic long-range planning process as it relates to all clinics in support of Nova’s mission, philosophy and goals.
    • Recommends plans for implementation of new/revised programs.
    • Evaluate and make recommendations for business development and expansion opportunities.
    • Oversee the implementation of all clinic expansion projects.
    • Provide leadership and mentoring to management staff in establishing department objectives related to staffing, policies and procedures.
    • Assure progressive clinical excellence through oversight of orientation, training, and competency validation processes.
    • Work collaboratively with leadership in the development and govern the annual budget for the clinic operations area and implements plans to achieve budgetary goals.
    • Monitors compliance of all clinic metrics.
    • Provide continual process improvement including all clinic processes and/or services.
    • Ensure all operational services meet regulatory and quality standards.
    • Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to remain current in the changing healthcare trends as related to management of clinic operations.

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    • Must have a BS/BA in a related field.
    • Must have at least 10 years' experience with increasing management responsibility within clinic operations.
    • Occupational Medicine experience a plus.
    • Thorough knowledge of all healthcare and related laws and regulations.
    • Must possess a strong understanding of clinic financials with the ability to analyze operations and continually implement efficient operational processes.
    • Must have strong business acumen and proven strategic leadership skills.
    • Experience with writing and implementing program level policy and procedures.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
