Medical Center Manager - II
Medical Center Manager - II is directly responsible for all aspects the Center and facility operations, this individual ensures continuity with all other Nova departments; insure total quality assurance and customer service; responsible for clinical staff management, development and performance; that expectations are met in regards to compliance and services provided.
•Proficient in, abides by and enforces all Company policies, procedures and initiatives.
•Implements process changes and directives at the Center.
•Manages, performs and/or assists with patient processing, scheduling Medical and Physical Therapy Services, check in/out, and case management.
•Holds, leads and develops topic agendas for Center team meetings and joint meetings with Professional staff.
•Reviews and monitors Center activities; recommends changes in, or better utilization of facility's services, equipment and staff.
•Establishes and/or maintains work schedules and assignments.
•Monitors all ordering of supplies, inventory control and verification of shipments in accordance with Company standard operating procedures.
•Responsible for employee development, provides counseling, performs disciplinary actions and terminations, plans/ensures new hire training and staff development and, forwards appropriate and complete documentation to HR in a timely manner.
•Assumes all medical records custodian responsibilities in accordance with policy and procedures.
•Maintains, performs and reports equipment upkeep records and needs, cash receipts, verifies charge entries, and all other daily, weekly and monthly requirements and/or requests.
•Establishes and maintains communication between all outside entities vital to patient care and case management, including, but not limited to, insurance carriers, medical providers, patients and adjustors.
•Acts as the primary liaison between employers and Center.
• Recognizes and takes action to diffuse problematic situations. Provides intervention, resolution of client issues and problems; informs appropriate members of management within one business day of knowledge of such.
•Works in conjunction with the business office to ensure appropriate, accurate and timely reimbursement for all services rendered.
•Performs ancillary duties to include medical office support as mandated by patient flow and/or Center needs.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
High School degree or equivalent; meets all position requirements; is in good employment standing with at least 6-months continuous Nova employment.
Minimum 5-years management experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in Occupational Medicine preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must provide Proof of Auto Insurance meeting State required minimums.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written form.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, time management, follow-up and problem solving skills.
Ability to work positively among diverse groups of individuals promoting a “TEAM” environment and “leads by example.”
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office products, e-mail, Internet, word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to meet with other MCMs, directors and executive management on a regular basis including off-site and after-hours.
