Medical Assistant/Back Up Transporter

• You will work closely with the Medical Provider to provide supportive patient care and perform tasks as delegated, including assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment.  
• You will be trained to perform many medical support tasks, such as, drug screen collections, diagnostic testing, preparing specimens, injections, and blood draws.
• You will be trained to perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, checking in and out patients, filing, and record processing
• Transport patients to and from destinations.
• Read and navigate a map.
• Check / fill vehicle’s tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle inside and out.
• Assist in clinic with shared cleaning duties
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Lifts and/or carries equipment, tables, chairs, and other objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

• High School Degree
• Preferred enrollment in a CNA, MA, EMT, nursing or related program
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written form.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, time management, follow-up and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work positively among diverse groups of individuals promoting a “TEAM” environment and “Leads by Example” 
• Current and valid State Driver’s license, clean driving record with no more than one (1) moving violation during the last twelve (12) months.
• Must have been in possession of a valid driver’s license for the past six (6) years.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age (for vehicle insurance purposes only).
• Ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check, Physical and Drug Screen.
• Must be able to obtain a CPR certification prior to employment
• Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
