Collections Specialist 

Summary: Perform standard Medical Collection functions in our Central Billing Office

• Minimum 1 year experience in heavy medical collections experience
• Ability to read and learn technical terms, as well as follow moderately complete instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram or schedule form
• Strong organization skills, ability to effectively prioritize and possess time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to learn, retain and develop new skills and concepts at a rapid pace
• In possession of a “can-do”, team oriented mentality
• Ability to successfully perform duties with minimal supervision (following the training period)
• Ability to recognize potentially problematic situations and the reporting of such to Management
• Monthly billing send outs to direct bill clients
• Handle client accounts, past dues, billing errors, etc.

• Prior and/or existing experience in an analyst role.
• Workers Comp background
• IMS, Internet, e-mail and basic Word & Excel processing skills
• This position is located in Montgomery
