- You will work closely with the Medical Provider to provide supportive patient care and perform tasks as delegated, including assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment. - You will be trained to perform many medical support tasks, such as drug screen collections, diagnostic testing, preparing specimens, injections, and blood draws.- You will be trained to perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, checking in and outpatients, filing, and record processing.
Responsibilities: - Independently work through the ticket queue and use discretion and judgement in solving reported issues.- · Determine business impact of requests and escalate as necessary.- · Provide stellar on-site assistance person to person and via phone and/or remote support tools for IT hardware and software, clinical hardware and software, telephony, mobile, printing, installations, and operating system issues.- · Provide guidance and instruction to internal customers as needed for further resolution.- · Prepare equipment prior to shipping and QC equipment when it is returned.- · Work collaboratively with other departments to deploy IT equipment, including travelling on-site for a new clinic buildout.- · Work on projects and new technology rollouts. Able to manage time between this and other responsibilities.- · Assist senior team members to develop best practices, policies and procedures governing how to troubleshoot IT issues.- · Research, evaluate, test, and recommend products as requested.- · Perform other related duties and projects as assigned- Position Requirements include:- · Able to provide technical advice, guidance and informal training to customers using hardware and software programs.- · Strong troubleshooting skills. Able to independently find and share solutions to recurring issues.- · Knowledge of the Office 365 platform, Active Directory Administration, & Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).- · Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office.- · Able to provide hands-on support of Audio/Video conferencing systems.- · Experience providing support via IT Service Management systems.- · Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.- · Highly adaptable.- · Constructive, “can do” attitude committed to consistently doing what is best for the organization.- · Highly motivated, responsible individuals with outstanding customer service skills.- · Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- · Ability to work at times in construction environments.- · Standard business hours weekday schedule.- · After-hours project work may be required at times.- · Must be able to lift 40 pounds.- · Must have reliable vehicle.- Ability to travel.
- Performs medical assessments of Center patients- Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients- Maintain clinical core competency- Work with Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Nova Medical Centers- Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction and center performance
Clinical Duties - Promotes professional milieu and demeanor while providing physical therapy services.- Maintains a safe, clean and accommodated working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.- Develops knowledge of evidence-based practice and demonstrates clinical knowledge of physical therapy services.- Perform assigned responsibilities from supervising physical therapist that are consistent with safe, legal and ethical physical therapy practice. Other Responsibilities - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.- Coordinates with Supervising Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services as specified in the plan of care; respond to acute changes in physiological state; teach other health care providers, patients, and families to perform selected treatment procedures and functional activities.- Meet with the Physical Therapy team members and/or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required.- Promote, support and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the center.- Assist with developing and promoting clear communication between the Physical Therapy department and other center staff members.- Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure. Demonstrate the ability to exercise proper judgment.- Partner with the Physical Therapy team to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards at Nova Medical Centers.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures.- Practice sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.- Produce quality diagnostic radiographs and maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.- Assist with patient flow process and secure/stock necessary X-ray supplies. - Travels market to provide staffing coverage and on-site services.- Follow protocol of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient population.- Apply the Minimal Necessary Standard when accessing protected health information.- Communicate effectively with relevant Supervisors and Management while performing onsite services. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with patient flow process; secure/stock necessary supplies; prepare exam room and patients for examination; assist provider with exam or procedure; provide treatments and medications as ordered by provider.- Travels market to provide staffing coverage and on-site services.- Assist with diagnostic testing including obtaining and/or preparing specimens.- Follow protocol of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient population.- Perform drug screen collections for DOT and non-DOT drug screens, using proper chain of custody.- Perform administrative support duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out, filing, faxing, record processing and shared housekeeping.- Perform additional medical support including, but not limited to suture and staple removal, injections, blood draws.- Apply the Minimal Necessary Standard when accessing protected health information.- Communicate effectively with relevant Supervisors and Management while performing onsite services. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follows the order of screening, making the referral and tracking service of referral.- Ensures patients have been cleared for specialty service office visits.- Resolves pre-certification, registration and case-related concerns prior to a patient's appointment.- Gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers, financial counselors, and other ancillary staff to make certain the patient is not financially obligated for services provided.- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.- Process referrals in a timely fashion, including sorting and processing referrals by indicated urgency and date.- Refer patients to specialists based on each insurance company’s available specialty network.- Document and enter all referrals appropriately in patients’ medical records.- Educate the patients on the referral process including their own responsibilities as well as their insurance company’s process and protocols in regards to a referral.- Verify that providers have sufficiently documented the reason for the referral and have done the appropriate work ups prior to sending the patient to the specialist.- Performs other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:- Upon physician referral, conduct an initial patient evaluation to develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.- Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure.- Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient's functional ability.- Communicate on a regular basis with all therapy patients, setting their expectations for return-to-work and emphasizing education and motivation for compliance with the established treatment plan(s).- Meet with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required.- Partner with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and Medical Center Administrator (MCA) to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards at Nova Medical Centers.- Provide input to the Regional Director of Physical Therapy on capital equipment proposals, additional PT support staff, and etc. to ensure responsibilities are consistently met.- Coordinate with MCA in order to eliminate missed appointments, as well as, ensures that center support staff follows up on missed appointments the same day the appointment was missed.- Promote, support and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the clinic. Assist with developing and promoting clear communication between the Physical Therapy department and other center staff members.- Assure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies, as well as remain familiar with rules and regulations established by relevant licensing bodies.- Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
