- Regularly reviews Center performance against the Center Performance Team Goals (“CPTG”). In conjunction with the Center Manager, develops action plans for areas of opportunity for improvement in CPTG. Recognizes and celebrates successes related to the CPTG.- Proficient in, abides by and enforces all Company policies, procedures, and initiatives.- Assists with ensuring that the Center is meeting the standards of Nova’s compliance, infection control and risk & safety programs.- May be required from time to time to provide leadership coverage for Center in the event the Center Manager is unavailable.- Manages and performs patient processing, scheduling Medical and Physical Therapy Services, check in/out, and case management.- Reviews and monitors Center activities; recommends changes in, or better utilization of Center's services, equipment, and staff.- Assists with monitoring of all ordering of supplies, inventory control and verification of shipments in accordance with Company standard operating procedures.- In conjunction with the Center Manager, performs supervisory duties to include interviewing, hiring, monitoring employee development, plans/ensures new hire training and staff development.- Assists with the maintenance of, and reports, equipment upkeep records and needs, cash receipts, verifies charge entries, and all other daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and/or requests.- Assists with establishing and maintaining positive professional communication with all external entities involved in patient care and case management, including, but not limited to, employers, insurance carriers, TPA’s, medical providers, patients, and adjustors.- In conjunction with the Center Manager, acts as the liaison between employers and Center.- In consultation with the Center Manager, effectively recognizes and takes appropriate action to diffuse problematic situations within the Center and provides intervention and resolution of client issues and problems.- Works in conjunction with the Central Billing Office to ensure appropriate, accurate and timely reimbursement for all services rendered.- Performs ancillary duties to include medical office support and patient processing as required by patient volume and/or Center needs.- Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintains meeting agendas/minutes to document topics discussed, identified action plans and outcomes.- Directs, monitors, and reviews all Center activities and is responsible to enforce security, safety, emergency preparedness, hazardous materials/waste, infection control and facility cleanliness policies and processes. Recommends and implements improvements to achieve highest utilization of Center services, equipment, and staff.- Responsible for ensuring that the Center is meeting the standards of Nova’s compliance, infection control and risk & safety programs.- Performs interviewing, hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination of Center staff in consultation with Human Resources and Center Operations Leadership as necessary. Ensures new hire and ongoing staff training and development. Provides employee counseling and fosters treatment team concept between professional and non-professional staff. Processes required paperwork and forwards completed documentation to HR in a timely manner.- Responsible for direction of all non-professional Center staff. Establishes, reviews, and maintains daily staff work schedules and assignments, including evaluating and approving PTO requests, and approving timecards through payroll system. Appraises staff productivity and efficiency and recommends promotions or other changes in status as appropriate.- Performs medical records custodian responsibilities for the Center and ensures electronic and paper records are complete, accurate and maintained in a compliant manner.- Responsible for ensuring required Center equipment, facility maintenance and certifications are current, documented and required reporting is provided to the Facilities department. Responsible for processing and reporting cash receipts, and all other periodically required or requested reports, analysis, or documentation.- Establishes and maintains positive professional communication with external entities involved in patient care and case management, including, but not limited to, employers, insurance carriers, TPA’s, medical providers, patients, and adjustors. Acts as the primary liaison between employers and the Center.- Monitors supplies and equipment inventory in a cost-effective manner for appropriate levels to meet operational needs. Responsible for ordering necessary supplies and equipment and verification of delivery.- Is proactive in recognizing problematic situations involving Center operations and exercises appropriate independent judgment to resolve.- Works in conjunction with the Central Billing Office to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for all services rendered.- Performs ancillary duties, to include medical office support and patient processing, as required by patient volume and/or Center needs.- Timely reports unusual incidents to immediate supervisor and via incident reporting process. Physical Therapist will assess each patient, develop a plan of care, safely implement, and modify plans as necessary in accordance with American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, American Physical Therapy Association's Guide to Physical Therapists Practice and State Practice Act.- Upon physician referral, the Physical Therapist conducts an initial patient evaluation to develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.- Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure.- Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient's functional ability.- Communicate on a regular basis with all physical therapy patients, setting their expectations for return-to-work and emphasizing education and motivation for compliance with the established treatment plan(s).- Meet with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required.- Physical Therapist will partner with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and Medical Center Manager (MCM) to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards at Nova Medical Centers.- Provide input to the Director of Physical Therapy Operations on capital equipment proposals, additional Physical Therapy support staff, to ensure responsibilities are consistently met.- Coordinate with MCM to eliminate missed appointments, as well as ensure that center support staff follows up on missed appointments the same day the appointment was missed.- Promote, support, and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the clinic.
