Responsibilities:- Upon physician referral, conduct an initial patient evaluation to develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.- Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure.- Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient's functional ability.- Communicate on a regular basis with all therapy patients, setting their expectations for return-to-work and emphasizing education and motivation for compliance with the established treatment plan(s).- Meet with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and or other staff on a regular basis, including off-site to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, educational seminars and other issues as required.- Partner with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and Medical Center Administrator (MCA) to ensure center operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards at Nova Medical Centers.- Provide input to the Regional Director of Physical Therapy on capital equipment proposals, additional PT support staff, and etc. to ensure responsibilities are consistently met.- Coordinate with MCA in order to eliminate missed appointments, as well as, ensures that center support staff follows up on missed appointments the same day the appointment was missed.- Promote, support and engage in projects, communications and activities which are designed to maintain, develop and/or improve overall teamwork within the clinic. Assist with developing and promoting clear communication between the Physical Therapy department and other center staff members.- Assure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies, as well as remain familiar with rules and regulations established by relevant licensing bodies.- Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

- Post payments, adjustments, and reduction request in a timely and accurate manner.- Identify and report any payment discrepancies.- File and/or posted Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).- Send payment reminder letters.- Post EOBs from carriers.- Research payments without posting instructions or EOBs to determine correct line item posting.- Respect patients’ rights to privacy and confidentiality.- Perform other duties, as needed.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned lab/TPA organizations serving as NMC ambassador.- Engage the existing national lab/TPA clients directly to understand their business needs and develop business solutions to address those needs.- Monitor and report on outcomes of client and strategic partners ensuring the success of the relationship.- Act as liaison between lab/TPA and centers to ensure resulting is completed in a timely manner.- Be responsible for overall account fiscal status, including reconciliation.- Build and cultivate on-going customer relationships with the lab/TPA client base and high revenue growth accounts targeted by the sales team.- Work closely with Sales team on the high revenue national lab/TPA accounts by participating in meetings/calls and managing the information needed to secure the business.- Assist with account and protocol set-up for TPA portals in electronic medical records system.- Be the lab expert to assist sales team with protocol set up in electronic medical records system.- Coordination of key client/partner meetings and events.- Interact with the Center Operations, Medical, Central Billing Offices (CBOs), and Sales leadership teams to resolve national lab/TPA issues and communicate the resolutions.- Oversee and manage the implementation of new national lab/TPA accounts and maintain the relationship and maintenance for these accounts.
- Regularly reviews Center performance against the Center Performance Team Goals (“CPTG”). In conjunction with the Center Manager, develops action plans for areas of opportunity for improvement in CPTG. Recognizes and celebrates successes related to the CPTG.- Proficient in, abides by and enforces all Company policies, procedures, and initiatives.- Assists with ensuring that the Center is meeting the standards of Nova’s compliance, infection control and risk & safety programs.- May be required from time to time to provide leadership coverage for Center in the event the Center Manager is unavailable.- Manages and performs patient processing, scheduling Medical and Physical Therapy Services, check in/out, and case management.- Reviews and monitors Center activities; recommends changes in, or better utilization of Center's services, equipment, and staff.- Assists with monitoring of all ordering of supplies, inventory control and verification of shipments in accordance with Company standard operating procedures.- In conjunction with the Center Manager, performs supervisory duties to include interviewing, hiring, monitoring employee development, plans/ensures new hire training and staff development.- Assists with the maintenance of, and reports, equipment upkeep records and needs, cash receipts, verifies charge entries, and all other daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and/or requests.- Assists with establishing and maintaining positive professional communication with all external entities involved in patient care and case management, including, but not limited to, employers, insurance carriers, TPA’s, medical providers, patients, and adjustors.- In conjunction with the Center Manager, acts as the liaison between employers and Center.- In consultation with the Center Manager, effectively recognizes and takes appropriate action to diffuse problematic situations within the Center and provides intervention and resolution of client issues and problems.- Works in conjunction with the Central Billing Office to ensure appropriate, accurate and timely reimbursement for all services rendered.- Performs ancillary duties to include medical office support and patient processing as required by patient volume and/or Center needs.- Performs other duties as assigned.
- You will work closely with the Medical Provider to provide supportive patient care and perform tasks as delegated, including assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment. - You will be trained to perform many medical support tasks, such as drug screen collections, diagnostic testing, preparing specimens, injections, and blood draws.- You will be trained to perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, checking in and outpatients, filing, and record processing.
- Assist with patient flow process; secure/stock necessary supplies; prepare exam room and patients for examination; assist provider with exam or procedure; provide treatments and medications as ordered by provider.- Travels market to provide staffing coverage and on-site services.- Assist with diagnostic testing including obtaining and/or preparing specimens.- Follow protocol of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient population.- Perform drug screen collections for DOT and non-DOT drug screens, using proper chain of custody.- Perform administrative support duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out, filing, faxing, record processing and shared housekeeping.- Perform additional medical support including, but not limited to suture and staple removal, injections, blood draws.- Apply the Minimal Necessary Standard when accessing protected health information.- Communicate effectively with relevant Supervisors and Management while performing onsite services. - Perform other duties as assigned.
